Today, science confirms that people who take regular exercise are
less likely to suffer major illnesses.

The key to
keeping up with a resolution to get fit is finding an activity you
enjoy. Why not try some of the Dance and Fitness classes on offer
at Dansarena. Come alone or with a friend to help with motivation.
Wear some cool, comfortable clothing and a pair of trainers.
Jot down new steps and exercises when the lesson is finished and
practise them at home.
When it comes to staying motivated it's just as important to train
your brain as well as your body.
Rather than saying somehow you'll get fit by Christmas, start by
setting the more specific goal
of going to an exercise or adult dance class at least once a week.
Enjoy it! Exercise releases chemicals in the brain such as serotonin
which affects your mood and
helps reduce stress. So whenever you can't be bothered going out
to your class, try to remind yourself
how good you will feel afterwards.

Gillian's class not only strengthens
the core muscles in the body but it also improves stamina and concentration.
The result is a challenging but relaxing class which can produce
amazing results in a remarkably short space of time.
FULL BODY WORKOUT:

Tara's workout starts with
an aerobic warm up and stretch followed by exercises concentrating
on various parts of the body in turn. Finish with a relaxing "cool
down" to dreamy music!
SLIM AND TRIM :

Warm up and stretch to
start before going into specific exercises that are the most effective
way of firming, toning and shaping your legs, buttocks and abdomen.
STRICTLY BEGINNERS TAP:
6:45pm - 7.15pm
Monday Evenings
Katie's STRICTLY BEGINNERS TAP is a must if you want to
have fun and meet people. Feel the beat beneath your feet as you
learn the basic Steps and Rhythms to great music, then go home and
practise on the kitchen floor!
IMPROVERS ADULT TAP CLASS
6.00pm-6.45pm Monday Evening
Katie's Improvers Tap class .Come to this class if you have if you have a basic knowledge of tap but would like to move up a level .
ADULT TAP:
8:30pm - 9:15pm
Wednesday Evenings
Heather takes Adult Tap
to a higher level. Come to this class if you've tapped before and
want more of a challenge. For both these Tap Classes wear Leggings,
T-Shirt and Tap Shoes.

Are you
60 + ? Why not join GOLDEN GIRLS. Dansarena in conjunction with
O.I.R (Opportunities in Retirement) runs two great Flexability and
Health classes. These classes will help to improve joint problems
and increase stamina. Socialise afterwards in our friendly Coffe
Shop.
Wear - Loose comfortable clothing and
soft shoes.
