The key to keeping up with a resolution to get fit is finding an activity you enjoy. Why not try some of the Dance and Fitness classes on offer at Dansarena. Come alone or with a friend to help with motivation.
Wear some cool, comfortable clothing and a pair of trainers.
Jot down new steps and exercises when the lesson is finished and practise them at home.
When it comes to staying motivated it's just as important to train your brain as well as your body.
Rather than saying somehow you'll get fit by Christmas, start by setting the more specific goal
of going to an exercise or adult dance class at least once a week.

Enjoy it! Exercise releases chemicals in the brain such as serotonin which affects your mood and
helps reduce stress. So whenever you can't be bothered going out to your class, try to remind yourself
how good you will feel afterwards.

GOLDEN GIRLS:

1:30pm - 2.30pm Monday Afternoons

Gentle toning of our joints and muscles, whilst enjoing a sociable light-hearted session - is our main objective here.

We begin with the essential warm-up before moving on to more energetic step and dance moves. Gentle stretching of legs,bums,tums and tops, all help keep us supple and alert. Then before we know it, it's slow-down time, finishing with relaxing quieter moment.

No special clothing or equipment is required, just flat shoes & comfortable top and trousers - and most important we never have to lie on the floor!! (it's the getting down that's the problem).

 

IMPROVERS ADULT TAP CLASS:

6.00pm-6.45pm  Monday Evenings

Katie's Improvers Tap class .Come to this class if you have if you have a basic knowledge of tap but would like to move up a level .


7.00pm-8.00pm Monday Evenings

10am - 11am  Tuesday Mornings(Creche)
