Dansarena and it's branch schools
have their own theatre group which gives annual shows
in the Gaiety Theatre, Ayr and the St Joseph's College
Theatre in Dumfries.
All proceeds are donated to the Clic Sargent
Cancer Fund for Children (Prestwick House), and The Karen
Mitchell Theatre Group is the charity's longest standing
fund raiser. Christmas concerts are held in December
in the upstairs studio which still retains the lovely
church
pews.
The Theatre Group's most recent show " Cirque de Danse" raised a further £1,500 for the charity. |
